Our three cats have been cared for by Del Mar Veterinary Hospital for 11 years now. The vet is fabulous and very gentle and loving. The staff are all great. The facilities are very modern and always clean. The service is prompt and the prices fair. They even recommended a special cat food that cleans their teeth while they eat. I always request a price quote for all services before I decide what will be done during each visit.
Dr. Bear has been our vet for 30 years. We drive all the way from El Cajon….they are that good! Monica is so friendly and helpful! Totally worth the drive (although my pets might disagree).
The staff are amazing at Del Mar Heights Veterinary Hospital, I would recommend their staff and services to anyone! They genuinely love all animals and take the best care of them always taking into consideration your time and schedule. Thank you.
I have been bringing my pets to DM Heights Veterinary Hospital for 17 years. Dr. Baer is a wonderful veterinarian and always explains things to me in language I understand. He is good with the cats, and takes excellent care of them. His care is proactive, but he doesn’t recommend unnecessary procedures or treatments. They work with you to ensure your pet gets good care, but that you are also able to handle any follow up.
The staff is courteous and friendly. They always explain my options, and give estimates to me before hand. I’m very happy with this veterinary hospital.
What a fantastic place! We were traveling with our dog who deteriorated and had to be euthanized. Everyone we interacted with was professional and sympathetic. They were great with our kids who were struggling with losing their dog. I could not recommend them highly enough! They are great!
As it turns out, we have some adorable, but pretty high maintenance dogs! The vets and staff are very accommodating, loving and take great care of the dogs. We transferred from another vet when we were dissatisfied with the attitudes of the staff and could not be happier that we made the move.
I’ve been bringing my dog to DMHVH for her entire 14 years, and they have expertly seen her through a wide range of regular check ups, teeth cleanings, illnesses and emergencies. The doctors and the technicians are all such professionals and it’s evident they care very much about their clients, both human and animal!
Doctors Baer is the best! We switched from another local vet, who seemed to be constantly running up tests and visits without offering treatment alternatives. Since coming here, our dear dogs are in excellent health and getting great care. Our dogs love coming here, prancing into the back and sitting on the scale to be weighed.
